The candles are handmade in Indonesia from 100% palm wax – a natural material from a rapidly renewable source, the fruit of the oil palm. Making palm wax is similar to producing essential oils – the oil is pressed and distilled. The same oil is used in many high-quality hand creams, shampoos and other cosmetics. It is a pure, GMO-free, practically food-grade raw material. Palm wax candles release no harmful toxins or soot when burning and burn down cleanly. The wax blend contains no paraffin, lead or zinc, and all wicks are made of pure cotton. The product is made following Fair Trade principles, and production uses as much handwork as possible so that as many people as possible can earn a living. 80% of the candle makers are women. No animal-derived materials are used in making the candles. The candles are an eco-friendly product.

Muladhara is the first chakra, known as the root chakra.

A vibrant Muladhara gives us a sense of security, the will to live and determination in pursuing our goals, physical endurance, focus and courage for life. 
By letting Muladhara energy flow freely and without obstruction, we can free ourselves from self-destructiveness, insecurity, aggression, greed, anger and fears. 
This chakra is found at the base of the body: in men at the perineum, and in women where the G-spot is.
The main colour of the chakra is red.
Its element is earth.
Of the five senses, it governs the sense of smell.
Traditionally, the Muladhara chakra is associated with the legs, the back and the lower body, as well as with physical strength and groundedness.

Svadhisthana is the second chakra, also called the sacral chakra.

In traditional chakra teachings, the heart chakra is associated with the chest and heart area. It also partly influences the rest of the endocrine system.
