Vishuddha is the fifth chakra and is called the throat chakra.

The throat chakra gives us free, flowing speech – it is easy to express our thoughts and views, the conversation flows, and others understand what we say. Through this chakra we express ourselves and our creativity through voice, words, writing and visual art. Vishuddha governs loyalty, peacefulness, harmony, truthfulness, reliability, gentleness and kindness.

The energy of the throat chakra supports the courage to express yourself and let your voice be heard. Suppressed feelings and unspoken words can block this chakra, and then it feels as if the words are stuck in our throat. It is also strongly linked to expressing the emotions that arise from all the other chakras.

The Vishuddha chakra is located directly behind the throat, in the cervical vertebrae.

The main colour of the chakra is blue.

Of the natural elements, this chakra corresponds to ether, or space.

Of the five senses, Vishuddha governs hearing.

In traditional chakra teachings, the throat chakra is associated with the neck, throat and voice.

How to use
For the best result, burn the candle for at least 1 hour at a time.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours in a row.
Trim the wick to 0.5 cm each time before lighting. 
Stop burning the candle when about 1 cm of wax is left at the bottom.

Caution!
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Burn on a heat-resistant surface or in a suitable holder.
Use the candle in a well-ventilated place, away from draughts.
Do not move the candle while it is burning or before the wax has set.
